Images are either recorded digitally - with a digital camera or are digitised from film by the use of a scanner.
Digital cameras and scanners often produce images which are 'softer' or have incorrect colour. This can be corrected using image
enhancing tools like Photoshop. Many original film images can be improved and/or restored this way.
When images are used on a website they need to be have a small file size so that the viewer does not have to wait too long but
this can come at the expense of image quality if the process is not handled correctly. The 360° panoramas used in the virtual tours are a good
example. The originals are often 30-50Mb but the ones you see will see here are mostly between 70-90Kb.
You can also add impact to digital images by adding text and graphics.
We offer this service for a very reasonable cost. You can choose to have us shoot the images for you or you can send existing
images for digitisation and enhancement. Images are supplied on CD for your future use.
